The Kistler Morse ORB provides a reliable means of gathering and transmitting real-time inventory information from anywhere, anytime via your LAN or the Internet. Also makes it possible for suppliers to manage their customers inventories more effectively than ever before. The result is a fully functional remote Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) process by which a supplier keeps track of a customer's inventory, scheduling deliveries according to known thresholds and reducing the high cost of data collection, personnel and equipment, measurement errors, and overstocking for both supplier and customer. Suppliers make fewer delivery runs and eliminate wasteful haul-backs or split-loads, while customers minimize inventory, reduce lead-time, and eliminate run-outs.

The ORB 2.0 Remote Monitor It transforms ordinary level and weight data into useful information that will increase process productivity at every level of the organization. This instrument interfaces with the sensing systems to log high volumes of data that are then organized as needed by various users within the plant environment as well as remotely.

Bulk material management, capacity utilization, and system reliability have direct impact on Quality, Delivery and Cost (QDC). The simplicity with which information is transformed is made possible with the simple HTML access to this highly reliable server. Thus, via a simple web browser interface, the programs are accessible without need for special programming, drivers or software packages.
