Francis Flower Agreement

Francis Flower have signed a 5 year agreement with Dedicated VMI Systems Ltd. (DVS), a leading supplier of Internet based remote silo monitoring systems.

This enables Francis Flower to remotely monitor and manage their customers stock stored in silos thereby reducing transport costs and improving logistics and administrative activities.

DVS’s eVMI system is connected to the measurement system on the silos and regularly sends stock level data via the GPRS mobile phone network to DVS’s secure server which hosts software that allows the stock levels to be displayed on screens using standard web browsers. The screens can be accessed remotely by the various people in the supply chain process.

Currently the eVMI systems are being rolled out nationwide to Francis Flower customer sites and Francis Flower’s own plants with a total of 31 sites and 63 silos are currently being monitored.

Dedicated VMI Systems looks forward to working with Francis Flower in the near future developing new innovative ways of representing data and reducing wasted overheads.
